It's able to support larger movements because of the wide cast iron base with 3 levelling screws and large diameter 15-1/2" tall upright shaft. It's versatile mounting components include 2 horizontal "V" groove brackets and 4 1-1/2" long heavy duty knurled screw-in cylinders with 3 grooves that are easily screwed into the brackets 6 different positions. Securely holds square, rectangle, round, and odd shaped movements. Shipping weight 6 lbs. (2.72kg.)
